Our story.
Our name says it all.
We don’t believe in simply “filling roles”, we believe that every position helps move the needle forward for the right hiring team and the right new starter.
But let’s go back to go forwards. Talent in Residence has been in the works for a while and we can all agree, the market is more complex than ever. We don’t believe in launching a business for the sake of it, so we set to work speaking to Founders, Leaders, C-Suite (basically our network) to understand modern challenges and what they need from a recruitment business. We then realised, it wasn’t another recruitment business, but instead a talent partner who understands their evolving company and client demands, a strategic partner who could understand commercially where their business is going and add value at different touchpoints along the way.

Adele Lewis Bridgeman
Founder
Adele is an award-winning People Leader and Founder of Talent in Residence, a consultancy working with cross-sector businesses including agencies, brands and charities, to ensure their strategic business plans are matched by the right talent strategy and execution.
With a career spanning in-house leadership and agency-side recruitment, Adele has led Talent Acquisition teams at LBG Media Group, The Marketing Store and WPP Media, bringing both commercial rigour and deep sector knowledge to the hiring process. Her expertise lies at the intersection of business growth and talent — combining recruitment marketing, search techniques and strategic people planning to help Leaders and Founders drive their businesses forward.
A WACL Talent Award Winner 2026, The Media Leader Future 100 Club 2025 and Top 50 Black Female Gamechanger 2025, Adele is a regular keynote speaker, panellist and opinion contributor on talent, workplace culture as a growth engine and workforce planning for the industry in the future.
